        Frankincense is an ancient and fabled aromatic tree resin. Its use as a fragrant perfume reported from a multitude of historical sources at least as early as 1500 BC. Frankincense consists of the dried resin from the frankincense tree, and it is one of the most common and sought-after of aromatic tree resins in the world even today.

On our Grandparents steps we are a proud to take you to live their life in thousand years ago with frankincense harvesting and trading from the land of the trees to the harbor to export. You will be with a guide and” Jabali” guys (local in Habitants) on frankincense trail and their camels who will carry our staff in 60 km for two nights and three days.

Trekking plan:

• Day one: Starting point in 500 M above of sea level to 1250 M with trekking duration of 10 kms then stop for first night camping.
• Day two: After breakfast, we will start trekking for 27 km to the next night camping spot.
• Day three: we will be trekking down to the ruins of old harbor of frankincense in Hasik village on the Arabian sea. After that we will drive back to the hotel in Salalah.

The trekking dates:

• 29^th -30^th -31^st-
• 12^th -13^th -14^th – JAN.
• 11^th -12^th -13^th  Or 17^th _18^th _19^th  – FEB.
• 2^nd – 3^rd -4^th
